Our name is homage to the legendary drum machine Roland TR-808. It has been used on more hit records than any other drum machine, including hits like Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody,” SOS Band’s “Just be Good To Me,” and Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer”.
Nearly 40 years after the 808 hit the market, modern music still uses the sounds of the TR-808, its legacy is evolving every day and its possibilities are endless.
